patternART ("the App") is developed and maintained by an independent developer. We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
The short version: We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you create stays on your device.
Information Collection
patternART does not collect any personal information. Specifically:
- We do not collect names, email addresses, or contact information
- We do not collect device identifiers or location data
- We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs
- We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies
- We do not have user accounts or registration
- We do not connect to any remote servers
Photo Library Access
The App may request access to your Photo Library for two purposes:
- Saving artwork: When you export a pattern, the App saves the image to your Photo Library using Apple's standard Photos framework.
- Importing photos: You can import photos from your library to layer onto patterns. Imported photos are only used within the App's memory during your session.
Photo Library access is entirely optional and controlled by iOS permissions. You can revoke this access at any time through Settings → Privacy → Photos.
Data Storage
All data created within patternART — including pattern compositions, saved works, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using iOS's standard local storage mechanisms. This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not transmitted to any server
- Is not accessible to the developer or any third party
- Is included in your iCloud device backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled
Third-Party Services
patternART does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or social media trackers.
Children's Privacy
patternART does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is safe for users of all ages.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share any user data with third parties. Since we collect no data, there is nothing to share.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
